The Sun gives Earth life. It the worships shining star above us all and without it nothing grows and thrives. The sun brings cycle and a returning to. It it the new dawn and new start. It is the beginning of all. Such joy and happiness is associated with the Sun. 

Winter is retreating and the Sun is becoming a prominent figure in our lives again making this strong, masculine card in the Tarot a beautiful and powerful card to reflect on in readings and in just quiet moments in study. 

In Tarot this card means success, divine intervention, sound advice and oppportunity in store. Reversed will mean turning away from all things that are the sun, depression, fear...lack of light.

 Beltane (April 31 or May 1st) Also called Walpurges. This is the last of the three spring fertility festivals. Beltane is about honoring life. This day heralds the beginning of summer and honors the joining of the God and Goddess. Beltane translated means "fire of Bel"  or "bright fire". Bel is known as the bright and shining one, a Celtic Sun God. Beli is the father, protector, and the husband of the Mother Goddess. A maypole is a traditional way to celebrate this day. As people dance around the pole holding the brightly colored ribbons, the energy it raises is sent down the pole in the earth's womb, bringing about her full awakening and fruitfullness. 

I do not give out spells or quick fixes for the passerby. There are parts throughout the site where you will find wisdom and knowledge of the magickal practitioner but I feel magick is shown first through our commitment to find wisdom.  Welcome!
